Duke" is a 13 year old, ISH owned by Kim for over 8 years. They have progressed in dressage, eventing and show jumping.
Kim tells their story "Duke is happy at his yard being with the other horses, but also enjoys his days out and when not eating his hay tends to go to sleep in his horse trailer."
"In 2019 I was Prelim Dressage Champion at Codham Park, Essex. I also competed at the Sunshine Tour, Hickstead. Last winter my aim was to qualify for the Blue Chip Festival. Qualifying was quite hard, but very rewarding to get enough points through the winter season. The Championship itself was a long journey, overall I was pleased with our performances and was delighted to win two classes!"
"I still hope to progress our partnership in dressage further, and I have excellent help from my instructor Alex Bywater. I have started doing a little dressage to music and hope to continue with this."
"Ruby (13) also rides Duke, and has her own horse at our yard. She is always willing to help me, and is a very talented young rider, who has a special bond with Duke. As a partnership they have competed at some local show jumping shows. I feel proud watching Ruby progress and to see Duke enjoying himself jumping, its so nice to see their blossoming partnership in all disciplines."
