Ukraine Fundraising Effort - UPDATE We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who have contributed to the fundraising effort for the British Equestrians for Ukraine (BEU) fund (https://www.worldhorsewelfare.org/support-us/appeals/british-equestrians-for-ukraine-fund) this is by no means a matter that will end in a few weeks, so all help is so hugely appreciated to get this effort moving as quickly as possible. An incredible 9 lorries will be departed from Country Haylage in Nailsea on Monday (21st March) carrying over 150 tonnes of feed and bedding with a retail value, including freight and all that goes with it, of over £100,000! British Equestrians for Ukraine - how to help

British Equestrians for Ukraine Many of you will have seen the calls over the weekend on social media for assistance for the horses and horse owners of the Ukraine. There are heart breaking stories of horses being released loose as their owners flee, stables being subject to missile attack as well as issues of supply for those that remain. There are currently 700 horses being kept in the Hippodrome in Kiev whilst the supply chain to hay supplies is about to be cut off by the advancing Russian army.
