South West Forces Equine Military Prelim Dressage Championships

On the 20th March nine finalists attended the South West Forces Equine Military Prelim Dressage Championships at Hartpury College.
The Championship test was the last class of the day so tests started in the early evening and concluded with a mounted prize giving. Beautiful personalised Blue Chip rosettes and Blue Chip vouchers were presented to all finalists.
Prizes were award by The Gloucestershire Constabulary Mounted Inspector Sarah Blake and retired Mounted Officer Kath Pitman. Finalists consisted of Avon & Somerset Constabulary Officers and retired officers, Gloucestershire Constabulary Officers and RAF Officers. All competitors wore their uniforms and looked extremely smart, and attracted a lot of positive interest from spectators.
All officers rode wonderful tests and the final results were so close with less than a point between first and second place, providing a nail biting final!
