Charity Event Organised by University of Derby Students featuring Beth Vernon (sponsored rider).

On Saturday 6 January Beth Vernon, a Blue Chip Sponsored rider, performed a show jumping lecture/demonstration at Derby College Equestrian Centre. This event was organised by the Higher Education students completing the second year of their Equine Science degree at Derby College. Organising this event was a critical part of the Equestrian Event Management and Marketing module of the students' degree. This was a charity event with all proceeds to be donated to Willbury Wonder Pony cancer charity. Beth Vernon brought four of her stunning horses, all of which are fed on Blue Chip Pro Balancer. Christie Prichard rode in the demonstration with Beth. The first part of the demonstration showed warming up and gridwork exercises and the second part detailed course jumping. The students made a fantastic job of organising the event. Food and refreshments were included in the ticket price. A raffle drawn on the night had lots of amazing prizes including a Blue Chip gilet, Blue Chip money off vouchers and Blue Chip tote bags with ear warmers and samples. The Students' event has raised over £1000 for Willbury Wonder Pony! Fantastic! Well done!!
