Isobel Long & Henrik 2017

What a year Henrik and I have had. Throughout this year I have seen our partnership progress which has enabled our results during training sessions and at competitions to improve. Our dressage in particular has come on in leaps and bounds after our lesson with Blue Chip sponsored rider Daisy Coakley. This was proven at our last two dressage competitions were we placed 1st and 2nd individually, qualifying us for two separate championships next year! Despite Britain's cold winters, Henrik and I have still been out competing regularly at a variety of venues were we have promoted Blue Chip. I visited the Blue Chip stand back in October at Your Horse Live were I met the wonderful Blue Chip feed...

"Slow and steady wins the race" Lou Doherty's December update

Slow and steady wins the race Things have been moving at a much slower pace than I am use to over the last two months since I bought Maisie. Unfortunately I badly injured my coccyx the day before collecting her which was terrible timing! For the first few weeks I was managing to still ride Corky on his rehab walks but I was not able to ride Maisie. I had to be sensible as I wasn’t very effective and quite sore I didn’t trust myself to ride a new and unknown horse! Clare was keen to explore the advanced ways of feeding horses and ponies and knew that both developing veterinary science and the importance of nutrition were pivotal to this. At the time, feed balancers were a totally new concept but now they are Blue Chip’s passion and the team...

Lila Bremner's first international.

Lila's first international             Lila's showjumping competition in Belgium at Sentower Park. She had the most amazing time at the most unbelievable venue and competed against at least 7 other countries. She competed Lady and Lappi on the CSIP Small tour and also Lappi in the 1.20m class. Amazing experience and very happy with the results, as follows 9th on the first day, 13th on the second day and 6th on the last day, which was her stiffest class of the week and the strongest 50 competitors.  Amazing end to Lila's first international! A huge Well done to Lila from all The Blue Chip Team.

Kate Lewis November Update!

Thank you so much for the feed delivery and joint supplements! I've put Nero on the joint rlf again as he had a hock injury last month and he's been doing a lot better but unfortunately I think we are going to have to operate. I've moved him off the pro feed onto the original and it's keeping his condition lovely!  Evie's having a little holiday after being medicated but she should be back in a couple of weeks at shows and we've finally managed to get my 5 yo on our new horsebox!  Out to a few locals over the next few weeks then hopefully arena UK senior premiere in a few weeks and Liverpool INT after Christmas to...
