Badminton Grassroots - Meet Ollie Rowlands

#TeamBlueChip

362 Ollie Rowlands and Loughan Silver Shadow (Reggie)

Ollie & Reggie qualified for Badminton at Frickley International Horse Trials in August 2024. It was their first attempt at a Regional Qualifier so they had no expectations and were planning to use it as a practice for some of the qualifiers they had planned later in the year. They had never done a dressage test in a long arena before or jumped a Championship track together!
...
A lovely test placed them in a good position going into the SJ where they jumped a lovely clear and managed to climb up into a qualifying position heading into XC. All they needed to do now was jump a clear round and be inside the time (because that's so easy!)
...
Incredibly they did it, to finish in 2nd place and pick up their golden ticket to Badminton Grassroots 2025.
...
Mum, Fiona Aston was thrilled "To qualify at their first attempt was unbelievable, Ollie has dreamed of competing in the Grassroots Championships since the first time he visited Badminton when he was just 8 years old.  The part Ollie is looking forward to the most is the XC and getting to ride along side the 5 star course, jumping into the lake and galloping in front of the house! Having the opportunity to compete at such an iconic venue is quite literally a dream come true."
...
GOOD LUCK OLLIE AND REGGIE!
...

Reggie is fed on Pro Feed Balancer - For those in medium and hard work. To maximise performance and accelerate recovery.

Fiona adds "Feeding Reggie Blue Chip Pro definitely helps him to look and feel at the very top of his game. His coat looks incredible & it is so reassuring knowing that he is getting everything that he needs to be happy and healthy during the busy eventing season, he literally gleams from the inside out!"
