Valentine's Day with your true love ...

Valentine’s Day is all about love,

and who better to celebrate it with than your horse!

While you may not be exchanging chocolates or flowers, there are plenty of ways to show your four-legged Valentine just how much they mean to you. Keep reading for fun, horse centered ideas!

Have a horsey date night

Who says date night has to be with a human? Take your tea to the yard, settle in with your favourite book or a warm mug of something cosy, and enjoy it while your horse is happily munching on their feed. Bonus points if you bring a few strawberries along to share as a treat! Just be sure to give them in moderation. A relaxed, quiet moment together is a perfect way to unwind and show your appreciation.

Go for a fun hack and explore together

As we get closer to spring, why not take advantage of the lighter days to get out for a leisurely hack with your best buddy?  Find fun routes, safe obstacles and grazing spots with a good view for you both to enjoy.

Pamper your horse

Most horses love a little extra TLC, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to indulge them. Instead of just focusing on getting them clean, take the time to pamper them and find those special scratchy spots that make their day and deepen your bond.

Teach your horse to give you a kiss!

Who needs chocolates when you can have horsey kisses? Teaching your horse a fun new trick, like giving you a kiss, is not only a playful bonding experience but a great way to add some humour to your day. You’ll both enjoy the learning process and who doesn’t want a kiss from their favourite Valentine?

Give the gift of health with Blue Chip

Nothing says "I love you" like taking care of your horse’s health. Ensure they’re getting the nutrition they need with the help of their Blue Chip balancer. When you give your horse the gift of health, you're not only showing you care, but you’re helping them feel their best. That's one thoughtful Valentine’s gift they'll definitely appreciate

Host a mini Valentine’s party

Why not go all out and host a little Valentine’s Day celebration at the yard? You could invite your horsey friends for a get together. It’s a perfect way to make the day extra special while also celebrating your love for horses with friends who understand that no one quite compares to your four-legged Valentine.

Make your own horse healthy treats like we did!
