Aimee Paxton clinches Blue Chip Pony Masters title at the British Showjumping National Championships 2022
Huge congratulations to Edinburgh based Aimee Paxton riding the 11 year old Las Vegas VI who scooped the 2022 Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Masters title for 2022.
With 15 riders contesting the jump off, only 6 jumped clear. Aimee was able to pilot "Asbo" to a well fought win with a time of 34.22 seconds, closely followed into 2nd by Thomas Hogan riding Queen Mac in a time of 35.16 seconds. 3rd place went to Blue Chip rider Isabelle Doyle riding Ross Culleens Lad. Izzy also clinched 10th place aboard her second ride Ramiro High Society.
“I felt a bit nervous going into the arena. I knew that he had to be fast and turn tight because we had good ponies following us. “Asbo” was amazing, he couldn’t really have done anything else for me. He helped me out and jumped awesome; my season has been unbelievable; I don’t know how I’m going to top it next year” Aimee comments.
