Blue Chip Feed continue to sponsor the Pony Newcomers for the 26th consecutive year British Showjumping and Blue Chip Feed celebrate the continuation of their partnership as we renew sponsorship of the Pony Newcomers Championship until 2024, making Blue Chip the longest standing title sponsor for British Showjumping. We have sponsored the Pony Newcomers Championship continuously since 1999. The Pony Newcomers continues to provide a significant springboard for the progression of junior riders, with many going on to represent GBR in European and Nations Cup teams. Surrey’s Phoebe Farman takes the top spot in the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at Keysoe Equestrian Centre The Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round took place on Saturday during the Pony Premier Show at Keysoe Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire and it was 15 year-old Phoebe Farman who landed at the top of the leader board with Tracy Priest’s 10 year-old grey gelding, Teachmor Joey. Sixty-three combinations came forward to take on David Cole’s track and just ten of these went through to the third round where all eyes turned to the clock. Berkshire’s Thomas Bradburne lands the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at Arena UK

The first of the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Rounds took place on Sunday during the Pony Premier Show at Arena UK and it was Thomas Bradburne who clinched the win. With a starting field of seventy-six, many riders felt the pressure and only fourteen combinations went through to the final jump-off. Fifteen-year-old Thomas from Hungerford, Berkshire piloted Gee Bradburne’s 8-year-old Derryinver Rocky, to victory in 39.31 seconds. Blue Chip Pony Newcomers - Chard and Muirmill

  Congratulations to both Thomas Bradburne and Poppy Deakin who were the latest winners in the final Blue Chip Pony Newcomers second rounds to qualify for Aintree. With the only double clear of the class, Thomas Bradburne secured top spot in the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at Chard Equestrian. Riding Gee Bradburne's Derryinver Rocky, Thomas crossed the finish line with his second clear round in 41.46 seconds. Poppy Deakin won the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at Muirmill Equestrian Centre. Riding Felicity Deakin's Icaris W, the combination jumped two stylish rounds to finish with a double clear in 38.92 seconds. Tabitha takes top spot

Last weekend saw another Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round, this time at the fabulous Vale View Equestrian Centre. The winner this time was Tabitha Kyle riding Tanya Kyle's Nightgirl Van Het Sonnishof Z. This exciting combination jumped two clear rounds to finish in 36.85 seconds! Well done Tabitha, we'll see you at Aintree for the finals!
