Daisy Williams made her first time at Horse of the Year Show one to remember, taking both first and second place in the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Championship with her two ponies, Bermudez BDA and King III respectively. The Lincolnshire-based teenager, who celebrates her 14th birthday next week, got an early birthday surprise when she took to the Andrews Bowen International Arena on day two at Horse of the Year Show. As first to jump in the seven pony jump off, she cleared a textbook round aboard Bermudez BDA. Carnsdale Irish Times WINS Blue Chip & Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) £2000 Challenge

The final Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round of this year took place on Sunday during the Welsh Home Pony at Wales and West Showground near Newport, Monmouthshire and it was Seamus Taylor who bagged the win and a Championship qualifying spot. Jodie Burchmore-Eames lands the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at South View Equestrian Centre

The second of the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Rounds took place on Saturday during the Pony Premier Show at South View Equestrian Centre in Winsford, Cheshire and it was Jodie Burchmore-Eames who clinched the win.
