Winter Championship Round up

“I had a fantastic time at the Winter Dressage Championships; the week started with Sheepcote Suncrest contesting the elementary freestyle and the straight elementary. I didn’t know what to expect because it was his first year at the winter championships and he’s relatively inexperienced. However he exceeded all expectation and rose to the occasion winning the elementary freestyle and was got moved down to third on collectives in the straight elementary class.

Next I contested the Novice open with Sheepcote Dream Lover again very inexperienced with the regional being his first big show which he won. Unfortunately he found the atmosphere a bit over whelming so he just came outside the top ten. Finally it was the turn of Sheepcote Don Calisto the most experienced out of the three, delivered a good test to come fifth in a really strong advanced medium open class.

From gaining a fifth in this class I got selected to do the Advanced Medium freestyle at Royal Windsor, it was an amazing experience the atmosphere was huge and Donny tried really hard for me where we came 6th.”
