This has been a summer of mixed fortunes for us despite the glorious weather. After our win at Sandringham National my family and I went to Mallorca for our first holiday in 8 years. This meant we had to miss Catton National but we had a lovely relaxing week of sun and sand while Jasper had a week of just chilling in the field.
Dear Bluechip, Thank you very much for my latest delivery of food. Sorry I haven’t written for a while, things have been rather hectic. 2013 has been an excellent year for us so far with an action packed Easter Holiday for me. When I found out that now I am at uni I get a whole month off I was elated until I realised it was a good thing else I would never have been able to pack everything in. We started off with a week training at Unicorn Trust for the National Young Drivers clinic.

Dear Blue Chip The past two months have been quite literally crazy! The beginning of September is the BHDTA National Championships held at the Queen Victoria Review Ground in Windsor Great Park. Jasper and I qualified for this event back in June and it is always the highlight of the season. After being plagued by terrible weather at every event we have been to since April the sun shone on Windsor throughout the entire event which made a nice change from being soaked to the skin! Dear Blue Chip, After all the excitement of Austria it seemed I was hardly home for five minutes before I was off to the airport for my post exams holiday with my friends. We’ve been planning this holiday for two years and we had a fantastic time out in Spain. I now have an amazing tan and it was great to have some R&R and not think about horses for the first time ever. By the end of the week however I was getting very twitchy from not driving and was starting to annoy my (non horsey) friends by constantly checking the Equestrian Team GBR website for Olympic news.
