Horse/s for 2012: Easily Led, Eighteen Carrots and Pebbly Rolover- a 13.3hh pony for sale!
Best 2011 Results: Eighteen Carrots (Joey) gained 9 BE points in his first Novice season being placed 6th at Weston Park with a 26 dressage, 4th at Kelsall Hill and 2nd at Brand Hall.
Easily Led (Bones) gained 3 points last season jumping double clears in the Novice atWestonPark, Kelsall Hill, and Brigstock Intenational Horse Trials.
.
2012 Goals: Hoping to upgrade both horses, and maybe compete in a one star.
Top Tips:
- Think and be positive, believe in yourself and your horse, if you’ve put in the time training then the events should be fun and enjoyable for both Horse and rider……
- Don’t overfeed at the beginning of the season, and maybe if your horse is tricky- let it live out a much as possible.
Personal highpoint: Jumping two double clears in the Novice at Weston Park with both horses in 2012, with Joey on a 26 dressage at his first Novice – we were delighted with him!
Memorable Horses: Gift of The Gab (Dibble) a stunning horse initially bred to show who was by Catherston Liberator, I bought him as an unbroken 3yr old… he loved the XC and was fantastic in the Dressage phase, but couldn’t show jump for toffee! He had a change of career and amazingly won the Novice Hunter, was 2nd in the Lightweights, and ended up being Reserve Champion at Stafford County Show, qualifying for The RIHS.
