Poor Hoof Condition & Borderline Laminitic

“Thanks so much for your advice.  Here are pictures of my 17yr old gelding Sammy (Pembridge Gazelle).  This first photo was taken at the beginning of the summer; I had only clipped him once during the winter as his coat had hardly grown even though he was not very wrapped-up and out all day.

As you can see here his coat still does not look good. People seriously thought I had a new horse by the end of the summer!  I had been told by a farrier and vet that Sammy was unlikely to be ridden again after endless poor hoof condition and borderline laminitic.

With the advice of an excellent farrier and Blue Chip Lami-light he has been transformed!  I can not get over how different he looks on Lami-light, I wonder if it is due to reduced discomfort in his feet ensuring he is able to use himself properly. He is also much happier in his work and less difficult to deal with. He looks and feels fab!
