Memorable Horses:

They Have all been Memorable.

Bazaars Exclusive – The first horse I ever evented he was so good to me. The first event I ever did was Purston Manor PN . I wasn’t nervous! I was petrified.. I had never ridden a stallion before him and id been xc schooling once. My earlier comment “Fail to prepare? prepare to fail!” luckily didn’t come in to action, He was a Legend flew me round even though I didn’t help him an inch 31 Dressage Double Clear. He is also the sire of the majority of horses I ride now.

Sugar – The pony to whom I owe it all.

  • Blue Chip’s sponsored rider, Lucas Poole, competed his horse Katelina at the Badminton Grass Roots Championship, where she finished 14th out of a 70+ field. Lucas said, “Before Blue Chip, I had never fed a balancer, but wouldn’t be without it now – the horses look amazing, with noticeable differences in their coat and condition. We are really pleased with the results.”

  • “It’s been an up and down season due to life in general, my accident, loss of horses etc. – but I had lots of ups!  I always wanted to do a BE Novice horse trials. This year we have accomplished lots – even chucking in a couple of Intermediates for good measure!  Yesterday we went to our last horse trials of 2014 at Weston Park, kindly sponsored by yourselves; obviously I was there in my blue chip gear, and to complete the day I had a 1st and 2nd in your Blue Chip sponsored section.  I have been asked to become an ambassador for Reaseheath college which will involve me going to the college and giving talks, and having college students to visit the yard, so I’m really looking forward to this.  And lastly, THANK YOU BLUE CHIP, for all the support both to myself and eventing in general.  This year has really been an eye opener for myself, and I will always try to buy off companies that support the sport we love.”  Lucas Poole
