Lisa Pilbeam is the lucky winner of a recent Blue Chip competition to win a full year of sponsorship from Blue Chip and as a full time event rider and trainer, her long held dream of finding sponsorship has at last come true.
Based in East Sussex 22-year Lisa has competed in affiliated eventing since 2003 and with her two top horses, Cullawn Celtic Queen and Cullawn Holly is established at intermediate level. She finished in second place behind Kristina Cook and Miner’s Frolic in the Leading Horse and Rider rankings in the 2007 SE Eventers League and won the Leading Mare, Under 21, Novice and Owner/Rider rankings.
Lisa said, “I am absolutely delighted to have won a really generous sponsorship package from Blue Chip that will give me really valuable support for the next year.
“Competing at high levels in eventing requires a high degree of financial as well as physical commitment and this will really help me to concentrate on getting to highest levels within the sport.
“My aim for the remainder of the 2008 season is to compete at CIC** and Advanced level with Cullawn Celtic Queen and Intermediate and CIC* with Cullawn Holly.”
Lisa’s sponsorship includes Blue Chip feed for her horses and Lisa she has decided to use Blue Chip Pro, the technically advanced, nutrient dense feed balancer for the fit performance horse. Lisa has also received a really practical selection of Blue Chip clothing for herself and her horses and will have access to nutritional advice from the expert Blue Chip Team throughout the year to help her achieve maximum performance potential in training and competition.

Pulborough – Duffy won his Novice section; Holly came 7th in the Open Novice (would have been 2nd but we got a couple of time penalities for being too fast!); Corby came 12th in the BE100 (Pre Novice).
Twesledown – 3rd in the Intermediate with Holly.
I’m just waiting for the final results of the South East Eventers League http://www.south-east-eventers-league.co.uk/ but my provisional results for the League are
1st – Owner/Rider – Holly
1st – Leading Mare – Holly
2nd – Leading Horse & Rider – Holly (behind Kristina Cook and Miners Frolic – 2007 all over again!)
2nd – Leading Intermediate
Unfortunately Duffy and Corby are now going to be for sale to provide funds for eventing next year. I’m aiming to do a 3* with Holly next year.
