Horse/s for 2011: Cullawn Holly, Cullawn My Way, Cullawn Celtic Queen and Oldtown Tango
Best 2010 Results: Coming 7th at CIC** level, it was Holly’s first competition at two-star.
2011 Goals: To compete at Advanced and aim for a CIC*** on Cullawn Holly; to aim Oldtown Tango at 5 year old classes.
- If you have a tense, excitable horse I find turning them out at night before competitions helps to calm and settle them.
- Warming up long and low at an event helps the horse to relax.
- Plaiting up the night before an event saves time in the morning, I put stockings over the plaits to keep them clean and in-place.
Personal highpoint: Winning sponsorship from Blue Chip! Also, winning four out of eight South East Eventers League titles in 2007, and winning my WOW saddle.
Memorable Horses: Passion Pipe – he was my first horse who started me off at British Eventing when I was 16 years old.
