Granny doing what she loves – collecting prizes!

“David’s season continues in good form.  The highlight recently has been the team of youngsters, who are showing promise and ability in equal measure.

We have two five year olds –

Christine Lees’ Ferro Point (Ferro) started at Badminton BYEH and just missed the final call.  She then went on to finish 6th at Purston Manor BE100, 10th in the 5 year old class at Homme House, and 3rd at West Wilts BE100.

Tim and Alice Page’s Dunge’s Don Perignon (Don) is a similar story – started at Badminton and just missed the final shortlist;  and has finished in the top 20 at each of his BE100 events at Purston Manor, Tweseldown, Dauntsey Park, Homme House, with a 4th at West Wilts, and 3rd at Goring Heath.

And two six year olds are both owned by Jane and Ian James –

A Cooley Connection (Juno) made a fantastic start with a dressage mark of 17 at Purston Manor BE100, and went on to Tweseldown and Dauntsey Park, where she finished 2nd, Homme House – 6th, and Bicton Arena, which she won, and most recently a 2nd at Goring Heath.

Meanwhile My Friend Jackson (Kevin) was 2nd at Purston Manor, 3rd at Dauntsey Park, won at Homme House and was 5th at Goring Heath.

With dressage scores consistently in the high 20s or low 30s, and only a few poles down between them, they are gaining invaluable experience and proving to be a very exciting team to take forward to next season.
