Garden of England International Show

Another successful week for our sponsored rider, Chris Dalton. He has just returned from the Garden of England International Show at Bodiam, Sussex. This was a five day event incorporating 4 shows. Chris took Coal (Hesa Classy Shadow) and repeated last years result by winning the youth and open all rounds in all four shows. They were not placed lower than 2nd all week and also took Grand Champion Gelding for shows 1 & 2.

He also took what was one of his client’s horse but has now become his (expensive show!!) Sentimental Shine (Curly Sue). They have had her at home for a month or so but are quite excited about her future. She is quite a young and green reining horse and this weekend was the first major reining competition Chris has entered for some years. The cream of Europe were there. As a trainer he has to go in at the deep end in the open classes. Although they didn’t figure in the top placings, they certainly did not disgrace themselves and things bode well for the future.

Chris is off to Fenland QH Show this weekend then off to Germany for the AQHA European Championships.

Well done and good luck!!
