I had a great weekend training with the GB Squad in Yorkshire. We had a session on Saturday morning with Louise Broom of Personal Best. I had my riding analysed on her mechanical horse with cameras and video all-round! The floor exercises were great, but hard work.
In the afternoon we headed to Alison Brown’s yard to jump some real horses, and then the snow came down! I’d left my car at our training venue and went in a 4×4 to ride and I was glad I did.
My poor car was stuck there till the next morning as there was too much snow to try to move it. Our on-foot orienteering in the dark on Saturday night was cancelled, but we had a good session on Sunday morning plotting grids and routes, with a one-to-one with the Chief Selector.
