February Update from Clare Blaskey

Clare and Glen Olympia

2011 proved to be an incredible year for Blue Chip and 2012 looks to be even better.

Blue Chip re-launched the entire balancer range and 2011 saw CarrotCalm and AppleCalm syringes being launched, which have had fantastic results. 2012 will see some more innovative products to help keep all our horses happy and healthy, so watch this space!

The Blue Chip horses had a great 2011 with I’m Blue Chip Too (Glen) qualifying for The Veteran Horse Society and Dodson & Horrell Show Championships at Olympia, London. It was an amazing experience to ride in the magnificent arena and Glen put on an outstanding performance to become Reserve Ridden Veteran Champion.

My Large riding horse, (Jools) also had a fantastic season in 2011. He started the season by winning the Novice Riding Horse and Championships at Hambleton county show and won his first ever dressage test, he then went on to win The Best Trained show horse at the National Championships.

Our racehorse ‘Come on Blue Chip’ (Nero) had an incredible season in 2011 with 2 wins at Wolverhampton and a 3rd at Newmarket. Nero’s first time out in 2012 saw him coming 2nd at Lingfield, only being beaten by a head. His trainer Paul D’arcy is very pleased with him, so look out for him in 2012.

2012 started with Jools winning a novice dressage test at Fieldhouse and Glen competing in the Novice to Music Freestyle dressage regional finals at Addington.
