Beth Vernon Attends Arena UK & Keysoe

On the last weekend in December Beth was busy competing at Arena UK and the British Showjumping Pony Christmas Competition which was held at Keysoe.

Beth had some brilliant results; Blackjack finished third in the Blue Chip Sapphire Qualifier, meaning he’s now qualified for the finals in April!

It was a long drive back on the Friday night, for Beth to then travel back to Keysoe on the Saturday to compete Falaza, Cinderella Girl and Max (a pony she is riding for someone else).

Max jumped double clear in the Blue Chip Discovery Qualifier, but unfortunately just missed out on qualifying. Cinderella Girl jumped in the Restricted Pony Open, going clear in the first round but with an unlucky four faults in the 2nd round, as Beth just caught the wing of the last fence. In the same class, Falaza once again shone, jumping treble clear to finish 2nd.

Sunday saw Beth competing at Arena UK, where Blitzer Go needed his last double clear in the Newcomers to qualify – the pair did fantastically and achieved this, finishing 4th.

With the Pony Premiers starting this weekend, Beth has got a busy and exciting 2012 ahead. She’ll be taking Falaza, Zirina and Cinderella Girl to the Premiers for the big qualifiers.
