Beth Has a Busy Week At Scope Showjumping Festival

Beth took a number of her horses and ponies to compete at Scope Showjumping Festival. The bad weather meant that some of the outdoor rings were unable to be used, and a lot of the classes were held throughout the night in the indoor arena! Here is a report from Beth, “Max – came 6th in a British novice prelim and qualified for this championship, unfortunately had 4 faults in the final. Lilly – came 4th in the foxhunter final, in the blue-chip newcomers she jumped clear in round 1 then had the last 2 fences down in the jump-off. Ellie – won a 1.20 prelim class, and in the dunglenn final had 4 faults. Mex – came 2nd in the 1.20 championship, in the dunglenn she jumped clear in round 1 (the course was too small so the course builder got 19 clears) so the jump-off was fast. I had a go but ended up with 8 faults. Blitz – came 4th in the under 16’s prelim, in the championship he went very spooky and had 8 faults.”
