Five wins and six places from 15 runners put trainer Paul Nicholls firmly at the top of the Cheltenham Festival Honours Board, rocketing his total winnings so far this year to over £3 million after netting over £955,000 during a phenomenal week, but even those amazing statistics aren’t the whole story.
Paul’s ‘Blue Chip’ Cheltenham saw him saddle, almost unbelievably, four of the first five past the post in the Gold Cup, with owner Clive Smith’s incredible Kauto Star first home ahead of rival stablemate and last year’s victor Denman.
Clive shared the limelight again with Paul following Master Minded’s victory in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, both winners, like all of Paul’s string, fed on Blue Chip Pro. It was Clive’s most successful week ever in racing as he collected more than £450,000 in prize money.
Paul who began his association with Blue Chip by feeding Pro to just some of his horses, confirms, “All my horses’ feeding regimes include the daily use of Blue Chip Pro and we’re obviously happy with the results we’re getting.”
Paul continues to include Blue Chip Pro in all his horses’ feed programs and however you assess it, the results really do speak for themselves.
