An Update From Amber O’Neill

A quick update for July from us.  July has been a fairly quiet month as now we know we have qualified for the National Championships we are focusing on increasing Jaspers fitness.

I have obviously been busy finishing school and starting on my work experience that is necessary in order to become a vet.

We attended the Wiltshire BDS Le Trec held atBarburyCastlewhere we won our section, the timed cones, the accumulator cones, the overall competition and the championship receiving a lovely silver cup! It was a fabulous event with stunning scenery and the hilly Wiltshire downs provided excellent training for Jasper.

The following weekend we also went to the White Horse Harness Clubs sponsored drive in aid of Help for Heroes. This was held on the Chilton Estate inWest Berkshire, which was brilliant, with a cones challenge as well, with Jasper producing three lovely clears. The hard work now seriously begins to prepare Jasper for his first Junior Camp held at Ashfields Carriage and Polo Centre on the 16-19th August as well as the rapidly approaching Junior National Championships and Windsor National Championships.

We are all very excited about these coming events and are beginning preparations. Thank you very much for your continued support, Jasper is gaining muscle tone and is improving every day.

Best Wishes
